Brittney's Story
Brittney discovered her passion for yoga in 2020 after her first hot yoga class. Initially, she began practicing yoga to complement her fitness routine which at the time included a lot of running. Her mother-in-law signed her up for an intro student special at the studio and she kept coming back. The challenging poses and supportive yogi community had her hooked, to the point that yoga became her favorite form of physical conditioning.
While many changes transpired in Brittney’s life, yoga always remained a constant. After having back surgery in 2022, she turned to yoga as a form of rehabilitation and the practice helped her regain the strength and confidence that she had lost. Over time, Brittney’s focus on the mat shifted from purely physical benefits to embracing the mental and spiritual benefits of yoga. She is especially drawn to the empowerment and calmness yoga brings, helping her manage her constantly spinning thoughts and achieve a sense of inner peace through conscious breathing.
Brittney is a graduate of the 200-hour Eclipse Empowered U Teacher & Leadership Development Training Program and continues to deepen her knowledge through ongoing study and practice. She is eager to learn and embrace a holistic practice.
Outside of the studio, you can find Brittney anywhere in nature with her husband and two dogs.
